Dr. Faiz Ahmad Khan is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University. He is a respiratory physician who splits his time between Montreal and Nunavik. As a researcher, he studies lung health in populations placed at high risk due to a confluence of historical and on-going exploitation and systemic inequities. Tuberculosis is a major focus. His work integrates epidemiology, public health, and, through expert collaborators, qualitative methods. He undertakes research in partnership with organizations working in low-income countries, and with Nunavik Inuit.
