Bio Sketch
Sheila is currently a research assistant for SSHIFTB and a global health student at York University, specializing in health promotion and disease prevention. She believes strongly in interdisciplinary work and is interested in antimicrobial research, gender-based health inequities, and planetary health. She has previously worked at the DIGHR with Dr. James Stinson, focusing on planetary health and Indigenous film. She plans to begin her Master’s of Public Health after she graduates.
