New TB Centre at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine

Welcoming a new TB centre at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, co-led by SSHIFTB contributor Tom Wingfield.

At the recent national network meeting of the UK Academics and Professionals Against Tuberculosis, SSHIFTB contributor Dr Tom Wingfield and colleague Dr Kerry Millington from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) launched the new LSTM Centre for Tuberculosis Research. The Centre Director will be Dr Millington and Deputy Director Dr Wingfield. The Centre will facilitate interdisciplinary research collaborations in Liverpool, nationally, and internationally to work towards ending tuberculosis.
