Description
The Union World Conference on Lung Health is a leading global scientific conference organised by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union). It brings together researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, policymakers, advocates, and community representatives to share evidence, exchange knowledge, and advance action on tuberculosis and other lung diseases.
The 2026 conference will take place from November 17–20, 2026, at the Windsor Convention & Expo Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The programme will feature scientific presentations, symposia, workshops, and community-focused sessions addressing emerging research, public health priorities, and strategies to improve lung health worldwide.
SSHIFTB researchers, collaborators, and community partners contribute to advancing social science-informed approaches to tuberculosis research, care, and policy. The conference provides an important opportunity to connect with colleagues, share research, and strengthen collaborations across the global TB community.
