SeeChange

SeeChange is a Canadian charitable organization that supports vulnerabilized communities to lead their own health crisis responses and so catalyze systemic change in healthcare delivery during crisis. Over the past three years, SeeChange has partnered with the Ilisaqsivik Society of Clyde River, Nunavut, to co-develop trauma-informed approaches to the TB epidemics in the Territory, such as the Community TB Empowerment Workshops. This unique collaborative model is a fundamentally CommunityFirst approach that provides control, space, and resources for community members to empower themselves to eliminate tuberculosis. SeeChange is also in discussion with the Government of Nunavut to integrate a Task-Sharing approach in their infectious disease elimination strategy.
