Bio Sketch
Anna Versfeld an independent, medical anthropologist based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. She consults both locally and internationally, mostly on the social dynamics of tuberculosis, substance use and gender. She has published widely on these areas as well as on harm reduction, community engagement, hepatitis C and HIV. She focus on the development, implementation and dissemination of qualitative health research. Her areas of expertise further include health programme support and M&E, technical writing and editing, lecturing and research training. Her current clients include the Global Fund and the Stop TB Partnership.
