Bio Sketch

Prof Ari Probandari is a professor of public health at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. She completed her medical doctoral studies at Gadjah Mada University (2000), master of science degree (2004), and doctoral degree in public health (2010) at Umea University, Sweden. She also serves as a trustee board member at Universitas Sebelas Maret. She is active as a section editor and reviewer in several reputable international journals. She is a facilitator in the WHO TDR Regional Training Centre for Implementation Research (https://retrac.fk.ugm.ac.id/2019/10/14/implementation-research/) and a member of the TB expert committee at the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia.

Several research projects during the last three years, including:

1. X-ray AI TB: Development of Artificial Intelligence for X-ray-Based Tuberculosis Screening in Remote Areas of Indonesia. Funding: KONEKSI Grant Australia. Co-Investigator (2024-2025).

2. Evaluation and Demonstration of New Tuberculosis Diagnostics for Indonesia (EVIDENT Indonesia). Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Co-Investigator (2024-2026)

3. Operational Research on Active Case Finding of Tuberculosis in 10 Provinces in Indonesia. Global Fund. Co-Investigator (2024)

4. Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Survey on Tuberculosis. WHO Indonesia. Co-Investigator (2023).
